Cycling is much more enjoyable when you feel the breeze, breathe fresh air, and exercise is equal to entertainment. However, exercise bikes, like regular bikes, train the same muscle groups:

  • Upper part of the legs;
  • Lower part of the legs;
  • Back and abdominal press;
  • Upper body;

When pedaling, the leg muscles are fully engaged, and since you have to perform the leg flexion movement, both the main and lateral abdominal muscles are worked perfectly. Moreover, the upper body, such as the arms, shoulders and back, are included in the work, because when pedaling you swing to the sides and hold on to the handles. As we have already mentioned, it is often believed that exercise bikes are bought by those who are too lazy to ride a real bike. However, thanks to the exercise bike, you will be able to pedal both in winter and summer, in the rain or even if you live in the middle of the city, in an apartment building. So, such an exercise bike only gives you more opportunities to exercise!

HOW TO CHOOSE A EXERCISE BIKE?

All exercise bikes look similar on the outside, but they have a lot of different functions and features. You are buying a trainer for the long term, so choose the features that satisfy you. And to make it easier for you to decide what you need, we have selected some of the most important points to consider when choosing such a trainer:

Don’t forget the most important thing – don’t focus on technology, like a big monitor and lots of sensors. Start with the seat – it should be comfortable and adjustable. Of course, if after a long time of use the seat becomes uncomfortable – you can always buy another seat. Also, the pedals must have straps to secure your feet so that they don’t slip when pedaling.

Before choosing additional features, think about it – you will save money if you choose what you need. Modern exercise bikes have many innovative features, which are often not as useful as they want to attract buyers. Supported weight – all exercise bikes have a set weight limit, so take it into account, because too much weight can break the exercise bike or make the exercise unstable. Sound – if you are not buying online, try the exercise bike and see if the sound it emits does not cause discomfort, because all exercise bikes work differently.

IS IT WORTH BUYING?

An exercise bike is a great way to exercise when you don’t have the opportunity to ride a real bike or go to a gym. Such an exercise bike will last you for years and will bring you great well-being, so it is an investment in your own health. An exercise bike is like buying health – a purchase worth your money.
